Recycling programs for nylon nets and ropes

Mowi invests in recycling programmes of nylon nets and ropes in Europe. In 2019, Norway and Ireland sent nearly 150 tons of farming material for recycling. The recycling process re-converts the netting into new polyamide filament, which in turn can be used in a variety of applications, such as in the manufacture of swimwear or carpet yarn.
