Introduce a national deposit system with subsequent, mandatory recycling of those nets and gear, which are not too dirty, whereas non-recyclable parts have to be incinerated.

According tot he EPA Network, there exist DRS for one or more product groups in 16 EU countries (includingIceland and Norway), of which Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland are from the Baltic Sea Region. Those DRS are mainly for SUP plastic bottles and multi-use glass bottles or drinking cans.
