Objective
MAR 2020 aims to implement in Portugal the support measures covered by the European Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) and its Strategic Priorities are: 1. Promote competitiveness based on innovation and knowledge. 2.Ensure the economic, social and environmental sustainability of the fisheries and aquaculture sector, contribute to the good environmental status of the marine environment and promote the Integrated Maritime Policy. 3.Contribute to the development of coastal areas, increase employment and territorial cohesion, as well as increase the capacity and qualification of professionals in the sector.
