Pleamar is intended to support between 2014 and 2020 around 200 projects that contribute to the protection of marine biodiversity, the practice of more sustainable fishing and aquaculture activities, the reduction of unwanted catches and the reinforcement of the management of the marine protected areas. The co-financing of around 70 consultancies on environmental matters and around 35 collaboration and networking projects between scientists and agents of the sector is also foreseen.
